Dr. Mariya Dvoskina

Dr. Mariya Dvoskina received her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology, with an emphasis in Forensic Psychology from the University of Denver in 2016. Mariya completed her Doctoral Internship with Nicoletti-Flater Associates (NFA), a firm that specializes in Police and Public Safety Psychology, Crisis Intervention, Trauma Recovery, and Violence Prevention. Mariya has remained on staff with NFA since completing her internship. Currently, Mariya continues to provide ongoing therapy and crisis intervention services to first responders and their families. Mariya is also highly involved with providing threat and violence risk management training, assessment, and consultation. She is a certified Threat Manager through the Association of Threat Assessment Professionals. Mariya provides threat assessment consultation to local schools, universities, businesses, local law enforcement, FBI and Homeland Security. Mariya was a co-author on “A review of the psychological safety and threat assessment issues related to the shooting at Arapahoe High School on December 13, 2013.” As well as on the third and most recent edition of “Violence Goes to College: The Authoritative Guide to Prevention, Intervention and Response.”
