Stacey Collis

Stacey Collis holds a B.S. in Law Enforcement Administration from Western Illinois University. Stacey was a Detective/SRO with the Lakewood, Colorado, Police Department. He served in law enforcement for 33 years, with 29 years at Lakewood. Stacey began working in the schools in 1990s with DARE & SRO programs. In August 2001, he started his assignment with Green Mountain High School as an SRO, where he remained until his retirement on November 1, 2018. He has taught internet safety, teen suicide, teens and marijuana, building relationships, and other topics related to school safety and law enforcement. Stacey also served as the president of CASRO (Colorado Association of School Resource Officers), and in July 2018, he was awarded the “Lifetime Membership Award.” He is currently teaching and consulting with his business 2020 Safe Schools and is a NASRO Basic SRO and Adolescent Mental Health trainer.
