While robocalls are decreasing, robotexts are increasing!
Forward robotexts to 7726 – this gives your phone company and regulatory agencies, including our Attorney General, documentation and information to go after these texters, which are sometimes scams. Never click on a link from a text unless you know the sender face to face.
Now, how do you forward a text to send it to 7726?
Here’s how:
- Touch and hold the message bubble that you want to forward, then tap “More…”
- Tap Forward or the Arrow that appears on your screen and enter the recipient, in this case 7726.
- Tap Send or the up arrow to forward the message!
