Officer Sandy Stapp was hired by the Arvada Police Department in December of 2021. He became an arrest control instructor in the summer of 2024. His prior experience includes two combat deployments as an infantryman in the United States Marine Corps and he has some experience in Kenpo Karate, Jiu Jitsu, and Muay Thai (kickboxing). Sandy is married and has twin girls along with a son.
