Hi, my name is Javier Alonso, and I am currently a Police Officer with Arvada PD. I have been with the PD for almost 5 years now and during my time I have worked on various patrol teams, and I am currently assigned to the C.O.R.E team which specializes in working with the homeless population. I am also part of the arrest control instructor cadre and I have a passion for teaching self defense tactics. I currently train Jiu Jitsu and I wrestled in high school and college as well. Fun fact, I met my wonderful wife at our Jiu Jitsu gym, we both actively train in Jiu Jitsu and we have a daughter who will, hopefully, start training once she is old enough.
