Evergreen Trauma Assistance

Thanks to donations from Team DeAngelis, we are able to fund trauma psychology services to any member of the Evergreen community or responders who have been impacted by this recent tragedy. Untreated trauma can become PTSD and should be treated immediately.

What are the signs of clinical trauma:

  • Deviation from baseline (change in behaviors or emotions)
  • Intrusions (seeing/hearing things that happened, flashbacks, panic attacks)
  • Sleep disturbances
  • Hyper vigilence
  • No joy in typical activities

If you are exhibiting signs of clinical trauma as described above, the following community members should contact us:

  • Law enforcement officers who were impacted
  • First responders (EMTs included)
  • Doctors/medical staff
  • Education/safety staff who were impacted
  • Evergreen community members who were impacted including families and students

Thanks to donations from friends and in collaboration with our advisor and trauma specialist, Dr. John Nicoletti, we are able to provide these services. There will be no fees for those we serve, the DeAngelis Center Foundation will cover the costs. If you know of someone exhibiting the signs of trauma above, please refer them to us and have them contact shawna@deangeliscenter.org.

Make a gift to support trauma services!
