We’re delighted to offer this training for SROs in law enforcement and school safety staff in collaboration with Stacey Collis.
This is a three hour training that explores the SRO/School Safety from the trainer’s background of working in the schools for 20+ years and in Law Enforcement for 33 years. Some of the topics will include:
A. Historical and personal perspective (Columbine, legal marijuana, social media, vaping, etc.)
B. Developing a purpose
C. Fitting the educational mold
D. Mental health for teens/ suicide/ suicide ideation
E. Balancing responsibilities both work and personal
F. School safety/ drills
G. Building relationships
H. Self-care
Training to be held at The Frank DeAngelis Center for Community Safety.
Cost: This training is fully sponsored by the DeAngelis Center Foundation and is being provided at no cost to participants. Should you be able to make a donation to assist in keeping our trainings free for everyone, you can do that here.
Class Size: Registrations beyond the class size will be waitlisted in the order received to fill openings in the event of any cancellations and gain priority in future trainings.
